Laila is currently a Research Assistant for Dr Jo Cutler, she holds a BSc in Human Neuroscience from the University of Birmingham and an MRes in Cognitive Neuroscience from the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, UCL. Having worked on numerous diverse research projects, she is now interested in interdisciplinary research which combines neuroscience with topics from areas such as biomedicine, psychology and public policy. In particular she is interested in inclusive research that leverages contemporary methods from cognitive neuroscience such as computational modelling to impact human wellbeing. Outside of the lab, Laila is a big fan of Liverpool FC and cats.
